AFC Wimbledon boss Terry Brown has released another nine players in an end-of-season clear-out.

Former skipper Jamie Stuart, fellow defenders Chris Bush, Fraser Franks, Gareth Gwillim and Brett Johnson, midfielders Reece Jones, Ricky Wellard and Kieran Djilali and goalkeeper Jack Turner have all played their last game for the Dons.

Brown told the club website: "I would personally like to thank every player that I have released.

"Every one of them has given his all in a Wimbledon shirt. They have been a credit to work with and I would be pleased to recommend these players to any manager who enquires about signing them.

"Sometimes there is a need to reshuffle personnel so that I can get new players in to reinforce the squad."

Brown confirmed back in January that Ryan Jackson, Lee Minshull, James Mulley and Max Porter would be leaving.
