Nicky Adams has expressed his delight after joining League One newcomers Crawley Town from Rochdale for an undisclosed fee.
The midfielder was an ever-present for Dale last season, although the club were relegated at the end of the campaign.
After signing a two-year deal, Adams told Reds Player: "I'm really pleased. I spoke to the gaffer (Sean O'Driscoll) and a few of the players. I've had a few offers from other clubs but this one seemed right.
"It's not just that, but the club has had great success and I know a couple of the players. They all told me it's a really good club on the way up."
