Bristol Rovers have confirmed summer signing Rogvi Baldvinsson has returned to Norway after both parties reached a consensus.
The Pirates agreed terms to bring the Faroese international to the club at the end of last month, but the defender has decided not to stay in England.
Manager Mark McGhee told the club's official website: "It was a mutual agreement for Rogvi to go back to Norway.
"He felt it was not quite the right time for him to move over to England."
McGhee added: "We will keep an eye on his progress and wish him all the best for the future."
