JPT holders Chesterfield will begin the defence of their trophy at home to Oldham, Portsmouth face Bournemouth and Coventry host Burton.
The Spireites won the Johnstone Paint Trophy with a 2-0 win over Swindon at Wembley in March and begin their defence of their trophy with a clash against League One Latics.
Elsewhere, League One newcomers Portsmouth and Coventry host Bournemouth and Burton Albion respectively, while Swindon begin their bid to reach successive finals with a trip to Oxford.
