Team news for Saturday's League Two clash between Bristol Rovers and Aldershot at the Memorial Stadium.

Bristol Rovers manager Mark McGhee is expected to welcome back Matt Harrold for the visit of Aldershot.

Harrold was absent for Rovers' midweek Johnstone's Paint Trophy loss to Yeovil, but the forward has resumed training and is in line to feature barring any adverse reaction.

McGhee's options are limited, however, by the international call-ups of Seanan Clucas and Matt Lund, who are with the Northern Ireland Under-21 squad.

Rovers slumped to a second 3-0 loss in four days on Tuesday and McGhee has challenged his side to bounce back from their poor start to the season.

"We will be looking to build on our performance against Yeovil," he told the club's official website.

"It was another disappointing result, but I still feel that we played ever so well and the only complaint I have about the game is the result."

Troy Brown will be assessed but Josh Payne returns from suspension.

Brown hobbled off after 30 minutes of Tuesday's Johnstone's Paint Trophy victory at Exeter nursing a calf strain and faces a race against time to be fit.

But manager Dean Holdsworth is boosted by the return of fellow midfielder Payne, who was serving a one-match ban.

Left-back Anthony Tonkin also missed out having sustained a knock in last weekend's 4-1 defeat at Fleetwood and he faces a fitness test.

Holdsworth is likely to recall first-choice goalkeeper Jamie Young despite Glenn Morris's heroics in securing shootout success against Exeter.

Striker Danny Hylton serves the seventh game of his eight-match suspension for racial abuse, while long-term absentees Craig Stanley (broken leg) and Ross Worner (back) remain sidelined.
