Mansfield v Cheltenham preview

Mansfield will be boosted by the return of Jamie McGuire at Cheltenham.

The midfielder served the final game of his two-match ban as the Stags drew 1-1 with Accrington on Friday and he comes back into contention but boss Paul Cox remains without a number of players.

Goalkeepers Alan Marriott (dislocated finger) and Ian Deakin (thigh) remain sidelined so Wales international Lewis Price will start once more while Sam Clucas and Jake Speight will hope to start having made positive impacts off the bench against Stanley.

Lee Beevers (shoulder) will not play again this season for a Stags side seven points adrift of the play-offs with three games remaining.

Cheltenham have no fresh injury worries for the trip to Mansfield.

Mark Yates named an unchanged line-up as his Robins threw away a 1-0 lead to lose 2-1 to Fleetwood and the Cheltenham boss could be set to shuffle his pack as he looks for a speedy response.

Sam Deering and Ashley Vincent will both hope to earn spots in the starting XI having stepped off the bench on Friday.

And young midfielder Harry Williams will hope to keep his place having made his first home start for the club as Cheltenham look to end a run of three League Two games without victory.
