The midfielder’s new deal ensures he will remain with the Dons next season, a fact which elated manager Neal Ardley.

“We are absolutely delighted with Dannie and it’s great that he wants to commit to us for the future,” the Dons boss said on his club’s official website.

“He’s a player that we wanted to tie up for next season. This is something that we don’t normally do and we would usually wait until the end of the season. However, Dannie has been outstanding for most of this season.

“Dannie is still more than capable of continuing to play a massive part because of his fitness levels. We put an offer to him that he’s signed and it’s great that Dannie will be here next season.

“I brought him here thinking that he would play games and he would be one of the best midfielders in the league. His form has not dipped this season and his ability to show high-energy consistently has been impressive.”

Bulman moved to the League Two side over the summer and has played a total of 32 times this season.
