The 23-year-old has been an ever-present for the Dons this season and has been rewarded with a fresh deal to stick with the League Two outfit.

“He has shown great application to be at the level he is at now and that’s ahead of where we hoped he would be,” boss Neal Ardley told the club’s official website.

“We are delighted to tie James up for a longer term. Good goalkeepers are at a premium these days and they’re tough to find. We believe we’ve got a very good goalkeeper.”
