West Yorkshire Police investigations are continuing into a tunnel bust-up that followed Leeds' clash with Doncaster at Elland Road on Saturday.

Doncaster striker El Hadji Diouf and Leeds forward Ross McCormack appeared to clash during the post-match handshakes and several police officers were seen to rush down the tunnel after the players had left the pitch.

A police spokesperson said: "Following the final whistle at the Leeds United versus Doncaster Rovers game there was a small disturbance in the tunnel involving both teams.

"Officers swiftly dealt with the incident and there were no injuries or arrests. Both teams are working with the police and any necessary action will be taken in due course."

Leeds came back from two goals down to snatch a winner in the 10th minute of stoppage-time in a highly-charged finish.

Police questioned players and officials from both sides after the game while the Football Association confirmed they have launched their own investigation. Both clubs have refused to comment.
