Leicester striker Martyn Waghorn has been added to the England Under-21 squad for Tuesday's friendly against Northern Ireland.
Waghorn, who won the last of his four caps for the Young Lions in the European Championship qualifying victory over Norway in September, has been called up following the withdrawal of three players.
Stuart Pearce lost Wilfried Zaha to the senior squad after Roy Hodgson saw five players pull out of Wednesday's senior friendly in Sweden, while Blackburn midfielder Jason Lowe and Newcastle forward Sammy Ameobi withdrew due to injury.
Waghorn, 22, will be available for next summer's European Under-21 Championship in Israel having been eligible at the start of England's successful qualification campaign, during which he was regularly involved and scored goals against both Azerbaijan and Israel.
He joins Leicester team-mate Liam Moore in the squad after the 19-year-old defender was called up for the first time last week.
