Slade wants more signings

Leyton Orient boss Russell Slade is still on the hunt for reinforcements to boost his squad before the transfer window closes.

Slade last week boosted his defensive options with the signings of Dean Leacock and Syam Ben Youssef, but is light in midfield given skipper Stephen Dawson is facing a spell on the sidelines.

"It would be nice if we can strengthen a little bit more," he said.

"Obviously we are missing Dawson so if we can do something, maybe we will look in that area."

Dawson could be sidelined for up to six weeks after picking up an ankle ligament injury in the 4-1 defeat at Carlisle earlier this month.
