Sheffield Utd v Leyton O preview

Sheffield United quartet Harry Maguire, Stefan Scougall, Jose Baxter and Chris Porter are all hoping to return to the starting line-up against Leyton Orient.

Central defender Maguire has served a two-game ban, while midfielder Scougall (thigh), plus strikers Baxter (hip) and Porter (unspecified) all started on the bench for the goalless midweek draw against Brentford.

Defensive pair Bob Harris (thigh) and Matt Hill (hamstring) are not ready to return, while boss Nigel Clough could be tempted to rotate his squad.

The clash with Orient is quickly followed by next Tuesday’s home game against Rotherham and next week’s FA Cup semi-final clash with Hull.

Romain Vincelot is a doubt for Leyton Orient’s trip to Sheffield United.

Vincelot has completed a two-match suspension for collecting 10 yellow cards this season but is struggling to shake off a foot injury.

Fellow midfielder Marvin Bartley remains sidelined by a hamstring problem but boss Russell Slade has no other injury concerns as the O’s attempt to get back to winning ways.

Full-back Elliot Omozusi and midfielder Lloyd James could return to the starting line-up after they were rested for the 1-0 defeat by Bradford last weekend.
