Manager Gary Simpson believes Macclesfield are not feeling any pressure despite five successive defeats in League Two.
Simpson has taken his squad to Tenerife in a bid to raise spirits after a slump in form has left them just eight points above the League Two relegation zone.
Macclesfield travel to bottom side Northampton this weekend for a crucial game, and Simpson told the club's official website: "I wouldn't say we're feeling the pressure. But we all recognise that our results haven't been good enough of late.
"Hopefully a few days in the sun will be just what the doctor ordered but we won't know until after the Northampton game. That's the true test.
"We just need to stick together, continue to work hard and try to get through this rough patch.
"We're a few weeks away from starting to see any of the injured players return so it's vital we don't start feeling sorry for ourselves."
