Manchester City are favourites to win the Premier League again this season, while Sergio Aguero is tipped to win the Golden Boot award.

Winners

Defending champions Manchester City are favourites to retain their title, with Coral offering the best price at 13/10.

The bookies have suggested their biggest threat will come from local rivals Manchester United, with 888sport offering a best price of 13/5. Champions League winners Chelsea, who have re-invested again this summer with a host of new attacking talent, are available at 5/1 with Bodog.

Arsenal are best priced at 12/1 with Stan James, while there is disagreement over Liverpool's chances this year with some bookmakers offering them as short as 14/1 and others pricing them at 33/1.

Relegation

At the other end of the table Premier League newcomers Reading and Southampton are being tipped to go down. Both are best priced at 11/8, with Bodog and Bet365 respectively.

Norwich are 13/8 with Stan James and Boylesports, with Wigan at 7/4 with Paddy Power and Coral. With Michael Laudrup embarking on his first season in the Premier League, Swansea are 9/4 with Bet365 and Boylesports, while this season's other newly promoted team, West Ham, are at 2/1.

Top goalscorer

Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero will start the season as favourite at 8/1 with a number of bookmakers, just ahead of Wayne Rooney at 9/1, with BetVictor the only bookmaker to offer that price.

Fernando Torres is at 11/1, while Robin Van Persie, set for Manchester United, is available at 11/1 with Youwin and BetVicor to defend his golden boot.

Arsenal newcomers Olivier Giroud and Lukas Podolski can be taken at 33/1 and 40/1 respectively. Chelsea's £35 million signing Eden Hazard is at 59/1 with Betfair.

Papiss Cisse and Nikica Jelavic finished their respective 2012 campaigns strongly and are both 25/1 for the golden boot.
