Rotherham v Port Vale preview
Rotherham boss Steve Evans will continue to shuffle his pack ahead of Port Vale’s visit.
With the Millers booked into the play-offs, Evans has been making full use of his squad as he looks to protect players, with Lee Frecklington missing the last three games due to a glute injury.
Evans rested Ben Pringle for the 6-4 defeat at Wolves on Good Friday and should get a recall, while the boss must also assess how much the see-saw nature of the Molineux game took out of his side.
Mark Bradley (knee) is the only confirmed absentee and his season is over following an operation.
Port Vale are seriously low on numbers for their trip to Rotherham.
The Valiants were already battling a lengthy injury list for Good Friday’s 1-0 win over MK Dons, where boss Micky Adams could only name five substitutes, before things got worse when striker Tom Pope limped off with a season-ending ankle injury.
Jordan Hugill replaced Pope and scored the winning goal so he should start at New York Stadium.
Chris Lines serves the final game of his four-match suspension, but Rob Taylor, Jennison Myrie-Williams, Doug Loft and Joe Davis are all injured, while Adams must also try and find a reserve goalkeeper.
