Doncaster v Fleetwood preview

Doncaster boss Paul Dickov will check on a handful of players before deciding on his starting line-up against Fleetwood.

A few Rovers players, who Dickov did not name, are nursing bumps and bruises following the 1-0 win at Leyton Orient on Tuesday night.

Despite his involvement recently, forward Nathan Tyson (knee) is not fully fit while Luke McCullough has resumed training after missing the last three matches with a knee problem, although a place on the bench is the best the defender can hope for this weekend.

Jonson Clarke-Harris impressed as a substitute against Orient and the striker, on-loan from Rotherham, could be recalled to Dickov’s XI.

Nick Haughton will return to the Fleetwood fold provided he can overcome the illness which forced him to miss out in midweek.

The 20-year-old midfielder had to pull out of the Cod Army’s squad for the 3-0 loss to MK Dons on Tuesday night, which effectively ended any slim hopes of Graham Alexander’s men reaching the play-offs.

Alexander wants to win his final three games but may continue to look at youngsters Tyler Forbes and Ashley Hunter, who made his full debut against the Dons, while fellow teenager Akil Wright could make his debut before the end of the campaign.

Striker Jamille Matt and full-back Danny Andrew are out for the long term due to broken leg and knee injuries.
