Ipswich manager Roy Keane is set to make a host of changes for the Tractor Boys' Carling Cup tie at Shrewsbury on Tuesday night.

Keane's side only played Coventry on Sunday afternoon and the former Manchester United captain is set to use his large squad to full effect.

Captain Gareth McAuley and new £1.7million signing Tamas Priskin are both unavailable as they are on international duty with Northern Ireland and Hungary respectively while midfielder David Norris is out after picking up a knee injury in the 2-1 defeat at the Ricoh Arena.

Colin Healy is available for selection after suspension, but Pablo Counago (groin), Ben Thatcher (knee) and Luciano Civelli (knee) remain sidelined.

Fringe players such as Shane Supple, Jack Colback, Tommy Smith, Connor Wickham and Alan Quinn could all feature.

Keane said: "I had a team in mind for Tuesday before the Coventry game and that hasn't changed.

"David Norris will go for a scan on his knee but he would not have featured anyway. I'll be making a lot of changes but it will still be a good side."
