Midfielder Olivier Kapo is Wigan's only injury absentee as they prepare to launch a new era under Roberto Martinez at Aston Villa on Saturday.

Kapo has not yet recovered from knee ligament damage sustained on Wigan's pre-season trip to Austria last month, and will miss the Latics' Premier League opener at Villa Park.

New boss Martinez could hand debuts to striker Jason Scotland and midfielder Jordi Gomez, who played under him at Swansea City last season.
