Plymouth Argyle central defender Reda Johnson faces a race to be fit for the Championship game against Watford at Home Park on Tuesday.

The Benin international made his first start in Saturday's 3-1 defeat at West Brom but hobbled out with a knee injury, so Hungarian Krisztian Timar stands by.

Argyle are set to be boosted by the return of right-back David McNamee, who was ruled out at the weekend by flu.

With on-loan Cardiff right-back Darcy Blake out with a hamstring injury and McNamee unavailable, Karl Duguid featured as right wing-back in a 3-4-3 formation at The Hawthorns.

Striker Cillian Sheridan, on loan from Celtic, suffered a hip injury after his introduction as a 66th-minute substitute but has shrugged off the injury and has trained with the squad.
