Midfielder Sammy Igoe is poised for a return to Bournemouth's line-up for their FA Cup first-round clash away to Chesterfield on Saturday.

The experienced midfielder has missed the Cherries' last nine games because of a bruised marrow, but he has trained this week and could be included in the squad.

Igoe's comeback will come as a huge relief to manager Eddie Howe, who this week lost Mark Molesley for two months after he was forced to have an operation on a bone in his foot.

Joe Partington could also make a return having not played since the end of August because of a groin injury.

Captain Shaun Cooper remains out with a hip injury, while Scott Guyett misses out with a knee problem.
