Lincoln City boss Chris Sutton is down to the bare bones for the Imps' televised FA Cup second-round tie at giant-killing Northwich Victoria.

Sutton will definitely be without 10 players for the trip to Cheshire while defenders Joe Heath (hip) and Adam Watts (knee) are doubts.

City have more problems at the back with Aaron Brown and Ian Pearce still suspended and on-loan Aston Villa duo Nathan Barker and Eric Lichaj ineligible.

Midfielder Michael Gordon is cup-tied having already played in the competition for his former club Merstham.

Defender Paul Green (hip), midfielder Sergio Torres (ankle) and strikers Paul Connor (knee) and Lenell John-Lewis (ankle) remain sidelined while Anthony Pulis is out after he was forced off with a knock in the midweek league defeat at Rotherham.

Sutton has drafted in midfielder Chris Herd on loan from Aston Villa and the Australia Under-20 international goes straight into the squad. However, City's other deadline-day signing - Notts County's Delroy Facey - is cup-tied.

The match kicks off at 12.30pm.
