Ipswich goalkeeper Arran Lee-Barrett will make his first start for the club at Bristol City as Richard Wright begins a four-month lay-off.

Former England keeper Wright was recalled to the starting line-up at Cardiff last week after Asmir Begovic returned to Portsmouth but suffered a cruciate knee ligament injury and is not expected back before March.

Manager Roy Keane was hoping to bring in another loan signing but was refused permission so Lee-Barrett will start with untested youth-teamer Ian McLoughlin on the bench.

Jon Stead will be hoping to start after coming off the bench to score the winner at Cardiff last weekend and could partner new signing Stern John up front.

Alex Bruce remains a doubt with a groin strain and long-term absentees David Norris and Luciano Civelli (both knee) are not yet ready to return.
