Sheffield Wednesday manager Brian Laws is expected to make several changes for the clash at South Yorkshire rivals Doncaster.

Darren Purse could return to help stiffen the defence after a five-match absence and winger Jermaine Johnson is hoping for a recall after starting on the substitutes' bench in Saturday's 2-0 home defeat to Reading.

Laws could also be tempted to make further changes to his midfield and up front but Tommy Miller, who has missed the last three games with a hamstring problem, and Francis Jeffers (foot) remain sidelined.

Striker Warren Feeney, on loan from Cardiff, is pushing for his first start while Laws must choose between Leon Clarke, Marcus Tudgay and Luke Varney, on loan from Derby, for the other forward's slot.

The Owls are chasing their first league win in eight matches, their last victory coming against Coventry at Hillsborough on October 17.
