Grimsby manager Neil Woods will assess goalkeeper Nick Colgan's groin injury ahead of the crunch clash at Hereford in League Two on Saturday.

Colgan and back-up keeper Leigh Overton missed the Easter games with Northampton and Accrington after picking up knocks in training last week.

Although Hull keeper Mark Oxley joined on a seven-day emergency loan deal and deputised for the two matches, he has been recalled by the Premier League club.

It leaves Woods again sweating on the fitness of Colgan as Town look to close the seven-point gap to safety.

However, Woods will have on-loan centre-back Olly Lancashire available after the club successfully appealed against the red card he received against Northampton a week ago.

Striker Lee Peacock (Achilles) is not expected to play.
