Darlington manager Simon Davey will be without teenage striker Curtis Main for the Quakers' League Two clash at leaders Rochdale.
Main, the Quakers' youngest-ever outfield player, damaged ankle ligaments in training on Friday and could be out for the rest of the season.
Darlington's relegation out of the Football League could be confirmed at Spotland and Davey will use the remaining seven games to decide which players will be offered new deals in the summer in the Quakers' bid to bounce straight back.
French forward Mor Diop partnered Tadgh Purcell up front in Saturday's goalless draw, but was replaced by youngster Michael Smith and Davey must decide whether to hand the latter his first start.
Andrew Milne is pushing for a recall after making way for Stuart Giddings at left-back against Accrington, while Patrick Deane and Ross Chisholm have both left the club.
