Darlington defender Andrew Milne could face a late fitness test ahead of the game at promotion-chasing Bournemouth on Saturday.

Milne was withdrawn from the shock midweek win at leaders Rochdale due to a back injury sustained after replacing Paul Arnison towards the end of the first half.

Arnison was forced off with a pulled hamstring, so Milne could be recalled to the starting line-up if he proves his fitness.

Striker Mor Diop is pushing for a return after manager Simon Davey opted for a five-man midfield with Tadgh Purcell up front as a lone striker at Rochdale, but Nathan Mulligan, who fired the winner, is expected to continue in midfield. He was forced off late on at Spotland due to cramp.

Despite Darlington's fine win on Tuesday night, relegation to the Blue Square Premier League was confirmed due to results elsewhere.
