Wigan defender Gary Caldwell returns to the squad for Saturday's Premier League clash with West Ham at Upton Park after serving a suspension.

It is likely Caldwell, who was shown a red card in the 3-0 defeat by Manchester City on March 29, will go straight back into the starting line-up.

Roberto Martinez's only doubt remains Hendry Thomas who has missed the last three matches with a quad injury.
