Team news for Saturday afternoon's League Two clash between Stevenage and Shrewsbury at Broadhall Way.

Stevenage manager Graham Westley welcomes back Chris Holroyd for the visit of Shrewsbury.

On-loan striker Holroyd missed the FA Cup stalemate with MK Dons after parent-club Brighton refused permission for him to play, but he will return to the starting line-up to partner Ben May up front after scoring five goals since his arrival at Broadhall Way.

Stacy Long is likely to drop to the bench to make way for Holroyd with Westley reverting to his preferred formation of 4-4-2.

Former Tottenham striker Terry Dixon has been training with Stevenage for a month now as he bids to return to full fitness following a dislocated knee.

He made his debut against MK Dons, coming on as a substitute for the last 10 minutes which is likely to see him keep his place within the squad.

Skipper Ian Sharps is welcomed back into the fold for Shrewsbury's clash at Stevenage but he faces a tough task dislodging the current central defensive partnership.

Sharps missed the 2-1 win at Crewe and their gallant late 2-0 FA Cup defeat at Southampton due to a hamstring injury but he cannot be assured of a starting return with loan signing Exodus Geohaghon forming an impressive partnership with Shane Cansdell-Sherriff.

Winger Lionel Ainsworth suffered a recurrence of his groin strain at St Mary's last Saturday on his return from injury and will be assessed, although he is doubtful.

However, full-back Dave Raven (groin) and strikers Tom Bradshaw (ankle) and Kris Bright remain 10 days or so away from their returns.
