Team news ahead of Saturday's League Two clash between Crewe Alexandra and Barnet at Gresty Road.

Crewe boss Dario Gradi has been boosted by the return of striker Nick Powell.

The rookie frontman is available again after serving a three-match ban for his red card during last month's defeat at Shrewsbury.

Fellow forward Byron Moore is also back in contention after shrugging off a hamstring strain during that 2-0 loss to the Shrews on August 20.

However, Shaun Miller and Ajay Leitch-Smith look set to continue in attack after their success during last weekend's 3-1 home win against Oxford.

Miller helped himself to two more goals to take his tally for the season to five and Leitch-Smith opened his account with a fine finish.

Gradi said: "Their movement and finishing was the difference between the two teams on the day."

Meanwhile Izale McLeod returns to the Barnet squad.

The striker, who tops the League Two scoring charts with six goals, missed last weekend's goalless draw against Accrington through suspension after his red card at Colchester.

Defender Anwar Uddin could also be available having missed the last two games with a groin problem while midfielder Tommy Fraser will be assessed after a head injury.

Long-term absentees Darren Dennehy and Steve Kabba played 90 minutes for the first time this season against Accrington and the Bees will check they have suffered no reaction.

Defender Dennehy was a surprise inclusion after almost a year on the sidelines with a foot injury and striker Kabba made his first start since knee surgery despite also suffering from gastroenteritis.
