Team news ahead of Tuesday's League One clash between Stevenage and Carlisle United at Broadhall Way.

Stevenage may have to check on Michael Bostwick ahead of the crucial home clash.

Bostwick was lucky to escape serious injury following a high tackle by Yeovil midfielder Michael Woods during the first half of the 6-0 win at Huish Park on Saturday. Woods was sent off for his 33rd-minute challenge.

The fit-again John Mousinho replaced Bostwick later in the game and he could be in line for his first start since November should Bostwick miss out. Robin Shroot is an alternative option in midfield for manager Gary Smith.

Midfielder Jennison Myrie-Williams and on-loan striker Jordan Slew are also pushing for recalls.

The match against seventh-placed Carlisle is Stevenage's game in hand over Notts County, who are four points ahead of Boro and currently occupy the final play-off spot.

Carlisle striker Jordan Cook is expecting to return in time.

Cook, on loan from Sunderland, was forced out of the weekend defeat to Charlton with tight groins, but is likely to start up front alongside Francois Zoko.

The Cumbrians' leading goalscorer Lee Miller has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a groin injury.

Forward Paddy Madden replaced Cook on Saturday and will be among the substitutes again alongside teenager Mark Beck, who made his first-team debut off the bench against Charlton.

Left-backs Chris Chantler (hamstring) and Matty Robson (back) remain sidelined, so Danny Livesey will continue to fill in on the flank with Lubo Michalik alongside Peter Murphy in central defence.

The Cumbrians are a point behind sixth-placed Notts County with a game in hand.
