Team news ahead of Tuesday night's Premier League clash between Aston Villa and Bolton at Villa Park.
James Collins has been ruled out with a groin injury suffered during Saturday's goalless draw with Sunderland.
Right-back Alan Hutton is poised to return to the starting line-up with Carlos Cuellar switching into the centre of the defence to partner Nathan Baker.
Villa will give a late fitness test to striker and current skipper Gabriel Agbonlahor, who suffered a shoulder setback against the Black Cats. If he is ruled out, Emile Heskey is on stand-by to replace him with Cuellar taking over the armband.
Bolton manager Owen Coyle is hoping Mark Davies is passed fit.
Davies took a knock in Saturday's draw against Swansea, and with Darren Pratley battling illness, Nigel Reo-Coker is the only fully fit central midfielder in the relegation battlers' senior squad.
Josh Vela, 18, made his debut from the bench in that game and could be involved again, but Lee Chung-yong is not yet recovered from a broken leg and FIFA clearance has yet to be received for former Rangers winger Gregg Wylde.
