Team news ahead of Saturday's Capital One Cup Round One clash between Doncaster and York City at The Keepmoat Stadium.

Liam Wakefield and Rob Jones are injury concerns for Doncaster.

Centre-halves Wakefield and Jones are struggling for fitness, though new signing Paul Quinn could make his debut at right-back.

Quinn, who signed a one-year deal with Rovers on Thursday, is one of five new arrivals this summer along with Jones, midfielders David Cotterill and David Syers and forward Robbie Blake.

Blake and midfielder Paul Keegan got 90 minutes under their belts in the 4-0 friendly defeat at Gainsborough on Tuesday night and could compete for starting places in the first-round tie.

York, back in the Football League after an eight-year absence following promotion via the play-offs in May, have former Rovers goalkeeper Michael Ingham in their ranks.

York City boss Gary Mills has selection worries as his side travel to face their Yorkshire rivals.

Winger Matty Blair and right-back Lanre Oyebanjo are definitely missing for the Minstermen along with striker Jamie Reed, who damaged a hamstring in the friendly win over Sunderland's academy.

Mills could use the tie to hand competitive debuts to a number of new signings.

Midfielders Michael Coulson and Lee Bullock will be hopeful of starts following their respective moves from Grimsby and Bradford along with defender Danny Blanchett.

Striker Oli Johnson will be looking to get his career back on track after being released by Oxford and, in the absence of Reed, will be pushing for a starting berth with fellow forwards Jason Walker and Liam Henderson.
