Team news ahead of Tuesday night's League One clash between Coventry and Sheffield United at the Ricoh Arena.

Coventry have been dealt a blow ahead of their clash with Sheffield United, with news that summer signing John Fleck has been ruled out for three weeks.

Fleck crossed for Cody McDonald to head the Sky Blues into the lead in the 1-1 draw against Yeovil on Saturday but left the field in the 34th minute with a hamstring strain.

The midfielder had sat out Coventry's Capital One Cup victory at Dagenham with the same complaint and will now be unavailable for the game against the Blades.

Manager Andy Thorn told the Coventry Telegraph: "It's a shame because I think he proved what he can offer us this season.

"It wasn't a case of taking a risk because he had fully recovered from the first one, but I suppose sometimes lightning does strike twice in the same place."

Fleck joins long-term absentees Cyrus Christie (knee), Conor Thomas (ankle) and David Bell (hip) on the sidelines.

Ryan Flynn and Matt Hill return to contention for Sheffield United following injury.

Midfielder Flynn and defender Hill missed the opening-day win over Shrewsbury with knocks, but provide manager Danny Wilson with a selection dilemma.

Wilson must decide whether to recall Hill to the left-back berth or retain Marcus Williams, while Flynn, a regular towards the end of last season, will also be hoping to return to the starting line-up.

Striker Chris Porter is still struggling with the niggle that kept him out on Saturday, so John Cofie and Nick Blackman are expected to resume their partnership up front following their league debuts at the weekend.

Goalkeeper Mark Howard, defender Tony McMahon and striker Shaun Miller, a second-half replacement for Cofie against Shrewsbury, also made their first league appearances for the Blades on the opening day and are expected to retain their places.
