Defenders Marco Cassetti and Joel Ekstrand are both fit for Watford's home clash against Nottingham Forest on Sunday in the Sky Bet Championship.
Cassetti missed last weekend's 3-3 draw at Reading altogether with a foot injury while Ekstrand (ankle) was forced off at half-time.
But the pair have recovered in time to be considered for selection as Gianfranco Zola's side aim to continue their unbeaten start to the season.
Nyron Nosworthy (Achilles) and Tommie Hoban (ankle) are long-term absentees.
Strikers Darius Henderson and Simon Cox, meanwhile, could return to contention as Nottingham Forest look to maintain the Sky Bet Championship's only remaining 100% record against second-placed Watford.
Henderson missed the 3-0 home win over Bolton last Saturday with a thigh strain while Cox has sat out the last two matches since suffering ankle ligament damage during the first half of Forest's Capital One Cup tie with Hartlepool.
Both players are said to be recovering well from their injuries and could present some big decisions for Reds boss Billy Davies, who due to a shortage of strikers against Bolton played defender Greg Halford up front.
Djamel Abdoun was included in the squad for the first time against the Trotters following his summer arrival from Olympiacos and the Algeria international winger will hope to keep his place.
