Arsenal have been handed a welcome fitness boost ahead of their home date with Norwich with the news that Mesut Ozil has shaken off a knee complaint picked up while on duty for Germany in midweek.
French full-back Bacary Sagna and Spanish schemer Santi Cazorla are also back after injury, while Theo Walcott, who has been out following a minor abdominal procedure, could play some part against the Canaries after being forced to watch on from the sidelines as England booked their place at the 2014 World Cup.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (knee), Lukas Podolski (hamstring) and Abou Diaby (knee ligament damage) remain out of action.
Forward Anthony Pilkington is doubtful for Norwich's trip to north London.
Pilkington made an early return from international duty with the Republic of Ireland due to a hamstring injury, but Hughton is optimistic he will be fit.
Chris Hughton will assess a number of other knocks ahead of the trip to Emirates Stadium, but will definitely be without Elliott Bennett - with the winger expected to be missing until the New Year after undergoing knee surgery.
