Dag & Red v Chesterfield preview

Dagenham will be without Scott Doe once more when they host Chesterfield.

The defender serves the final game of his suspension for the red card he received for violent conduct and misses out for a Daggers side that are on a high after their first ever victory at Torquay on Friday.

Blair Turgott and Femi Ilesanmi returned to action at Plainmoor after injury and will be involved again but Rhys Murphy (groin) and Zavon Hines miss out.

Lawson D’Ath and Luke Wilkinson are pushing for starts along with the likes of Chris Dickson as they look for a rare home victory.

Chesterfield will be without Sam Morsy at Dagenham.

The midfielder picked up a straight red card in Friday’s 1-1 draw with Exeter and will serve the first of his three-match ban against the Daggers on Monday.

But while Morsy starts his suspension Jimmy Ryan is available again having served his two-game ban to boost Paul Cook’s options.

Ollie Banks (foot) is out for the remainder of the season and misses out for a Spireites side that sit second in League Two, three points clear of the chasing pack, after their late point against the Grecians.
