Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti has reported a clean bill of health for the game.

Ancelotti on Thursday dispelled fears over the fitness of Michael Essien (knee) and Ramires (hamstring), with the latter back in the frame after missing the last three matches.

Defender Alex is also fit again following an identical period on the sidelines with a similar injury.

Tottenham midfielder Tom Huddlestone looks likely to miss out after his ankle injury flared up.

Benoit Assou-Ekotto is out with a hamstring injury and there are doubts over Vedran Corluka (ankle) and Niko Kranjcar (foot).

Jonathan Woodgate (calf) and Ledley King (groin) have been training this week but are still doubtful and Wilson Palacios and Alan Hutton (both knee) are definitely out.
