Aaron McLean inspired a storming Peterborough revival as the promotion chasers came from behind to claim a 3-1 win over Dagenham.
Darren Ferguson's men performed way below par for much of the game and found themselves trailing to a Paul Benson strike on the half-hour.
The striker capped an incisive counter-attacking move by finishing smartly with the outside of his boot past home keeper Mark Tyler.
But Posh midfielder Dean Keates shrugged off a nightmare personal display to launch the comeback with his first goal for the club after 69 minutes. And then hitman Mclean took centre stage with two goals in the space of three minutes to rescue all three points for his side.
Former Daggers ace Craig Mackail-Smith was the architect of both strikes, which arrived after 79 and 82 minutes respectively.
