Jobi McAnuff scored in the third minute of injury time to rescue a point for Watford in a 2-2 draw with Cardiff City at Vicarage Road.
The Hornets were destined for another home defeat until winger McAnuff curled his strike into the top corner from the edge of the box.
Cardiff took a deserved lead on 34 minutes when Roger Johnson powerfully headed in Gavin Rae's cross from the right, but it was cancelled out just after the break by captain Jay DeMerit, who latched on to Nathan Ellington's knock-down and rifled home from close range.
The Bluebirds restored their lead in the 56th minute as Peter Whittingham ran into the heart of Watford's defence before unleashing a powerful low shot into the right-hand corner.
A late Watford onslaught then saw McAnuff hit a first time shot high into the far corner to cue wild celebrations.
