Play-off-chasing Stockport were held to a 1-1 draw by gutsy Notts County at Edgeley Park but still remain unbeaten in the league in 2008.
Stockport's Anthony Pilkington had the first chance when his fierce shot was parried to safety by County goalkeeper Kevin Pilkington.
But it was the visitors who took the lead after 12 minutes. Richard Butcher floated in a free-kick and centre-back Mike Edwards touched the ball home from close range despite the home defender's belief the ball hadn't crossed the line.
Lawrie Dudfield almost doubled County's lead before Stockport levelled matters in the 22nd minute. Pilkington crossed from the right for teenager Tommy Rowe, who flicked home his first senior goal.
Stockport full-back Michael Rose curled a free-kick inches wide and Pilkington and Gary Dicker missed decent chances in the second half.
