Cameron Jerome scored to earn Birmingham a 1-1 draw against Burnley, who dominated long periods of the clash at Turf Moor.

After a quiet opening period, Clarets midfielder Chris McCann made a late dash into the Birmingham box and managed to head a Martin Paterson cross past Birmingham goalkeeper Maik Taylor in the 25th minute.

Just after the break Joey Gudjonsson saw a free-kick from 25 yards deflect off a Birmingham wall and slide just wide of Taylor's right-hand post with the Blues stopper rooted to the spot.

Burnley's Wade Elliott hit the bar with a cross on 56 minutes and Michael Duff had a curling shot just wide.

Birmingham equalised with a rapid counter-attack on 77 minutes.

The ball was shipped the entire length of the field before sub James McFadden's shot, saved by Brian Jensen, fell to Jerome, who slotted home the equaliser.
