Substitute Gorka Pintado rescued a point for Swansea as Derby were made to rue their missed chances in a 2-2 Championship draw at Pride Park.
Chris Porter netted a simple tap-in after 14 minutes, turning home the rebound from inside the six-yard box after Dorus De Vries failed to hold Robbie Savage's free-kick from the edge of the area.
The Rams doubled their lead early in the second half when a long punt forward from Paul Connolly was inadvertently flicked into Porter's path by Swans defender Ashley Williams and the striker curled the ball over De Vries and into the far corner.
Swansea halved their deficit when Jordi Gomez's free-kick was turned home by Angel Rangel from eight yards out on 55 minutes.
Then Jason Scotland cut the ball back for Pintado who powered a shot in off the under side of the crossbar three minutes from time.
