Tamas Priskin hammered another nail in the coffin of Charlton's Championship survival hopes as Watford claimed a 3-2 victory at The Valley.
Don Cowie drilled in a shot to put the Hornets ahead on 17 minutes before Tresor Kandol ended a powerful run by rounding keeper Scott Loach and slotting in to level four minutes later.
Kandol's 33rd-minute header gave Charlton a half-time lead but the visitors again equalised when Gregor Rasiak swivelled and superbly volleyed into the top left corner 11 minutes after the break.
With the Addicks looking likely to hold on for a point, Priskin curled home the winner for Brendan Rodgers' side from just inside the area.
The defeat leaves rock-bottom Charlton 12 points from safety while Watford climb to 18th in the table.
