Billy Sharp continued his fine scoring run as Doncaster maintained their good form with a 1-0 win over Bristol City at the Keepmoat Stadium.
In the 12th minute Sharp latched onto a loose ball before firing in to make it five goals in as many games for the on-loan Sheffield United frontman.
The visitors rallied in the second half with Alvaro Saborio and Nicky Maynard going close but they were unable to find a way through as Doncaster made it three consecutive wins without conceding a goal.
Doncaster made a good start and Dean Shiels sent an effort wide after finding space just outside the box.
And with 12 minutes gone the home side got the goal their early pressure deserved when Sharp took advantage of some uncertainty in the Bristol City defence and pounced on a loose ball before firing past Dean Gerken.
