Billy Sharp's rich vein of form in front of goal continued as Doncaster beat Derby 2-0 to extend their winning run to four Championship games.

Sharp is on loan at Rovers from Sheffield United after failing to settle at Bramall Lane following his return to the club from Scunthorpe in the summer of 2007.

However, under Sean O'Driscoll, Sharp has rediscovered the form that saw him rise to prominence at the Iron and he scored for the sixth straight league game and the 11th time this season after 21 largely uneventful minutes at Pride Park on Saturday.

After Robbie Savage had lost possession, John Oster ran goalwards down the right-hand side and set up Sharp, who converted from six yards out.

It stayed that way until stoppage time when James Coppinger capitalised on a lack of concentration to beat Stephen Bywater with a low shot from 12 yards.
