Shaun Harrad grabbed an 82nd-minute equaliser to earn Burton only their second point in six home games in a 1-1 draw with Bradford.

Burton dominated the opening 45 minutes but failed to turn their persistent pressure into a goal.

Their best chance was squandered by Greg Pearson in the 17th minute when his penalty was saved by Jon McLaughlin after midfielder Russell Penn had been tripped by Steve O'Leary.

Harrad, who had earlier been denied by the Bantams keeper, saw another chance go begging when he dragged a shot wide from 15 yards.

The visitors went ahead in the 59th minute when Gavin Grant's shot looped up off a defender for Luke Oliver to convert a 10-yard header.

Burton penned the visitors back but Harrad's header was turned onto the angle of crossbar and post by McLaughlin in the 75th minute.

Harrad's persistence was finally rewarded when he swept home a Paul Boertien cross from six yards for his 18th of the season.
