Paul Peschisolido saw his Burton team go down to a 1-0 pre-season friendly defeat at the hands of Kidderminster at Aggborough on Saturday.

The Blue Square Premier side looked the more likely to score throughout the tie but it was a penalty that separated the two teams.

Brewers defender Paul Boertien was adjudged to have handled 11 minutes in and Tom Shaw made no mistake from 12 yards, sending keeper Adam Legzdins the wrong way.

Greg Pearson fired wide for Albion and Lewis Young was denied by Harriers keeper Danny Lewis when through on goal, but the away side could not find a breakthrough as Kidderminster held on to secure victory.
