Alan Dunne has been fined £2,000 after admitting a charge of improper conduct over comments he made on Twitter.
The Millwall defender retweeted a comment critical of the referee's performance following his dismissal during the rout by Birmingham last month.
Lions boss Kenny Jackett issued a written warning to his squad in the wake of Dunne being charged, although he stopped short of banning his players from using the social networking tool.
Dunne was found guilty of a breach of Football Association rule E3.
