MK Dons will hold a pitch inspection to determine whether their League One fixture against Bury will go ahead.
Like many parts of the country this week, Milton Keynes has been hit by snow and freezing temperatures. More snow is forecast in the area before Saturday.
The Dons will conduct an inspection on Friday morning at 10.30am.
A statement on the club's official website said: "MK Dons have contacted the Football League to request a pitch inspection.
"A referee will check the playing surface, which has been covered with pitch protection since the last home game at stadium:mk over a week ago, to assess whether it is in a safe and playable condition for both teams."
