Jordan Ivey-Ward has signed a professional contract with MK Dons for the forthcoming season.

Ivey-Ward, born in Milton Keynes, has signed a six-month deal with the option of a further six months.

The 18-year-old has been with the Dons for five years and has this season transformed from a defender to a striker. He has captained his team at every age group he has represented

"The strength of Jordan as a character has really impressed me this season and he has coped magnificently with a change of position late in his apprenticeship," Dons boss Karl Robinson told the club's official website.

"We are always keen to support the younger players and I am pleased the academy have produced another professional for the first team. Jordan will offer us great energy, hunger and desire plus his versatility will be a fantastic tool for the team."
